The way Im looking at these form (dry leaves and seed) is in such a way of becoming intimate with the object. Looking at it as though it was my first time, feeling it, drawing it from different viewpoints, using different mediums and textures, and so on.
I'm fascinated with these sometimes small and delicate leaf skeletons, or hard and brittle leaves, that are like shells. I've also started to make my own books in which these drawings and observation can be seen. I want to make everything, including the paper that it is shown on, though that may take more time then the course allows, we will see after the hols where this will go.
I'm also planning on making 3D sculptures from the work using a large range of materials and resources. In the past Ive not been one for working in 3D but for some reason working with this it feels right, I think Im falling in love with my work LOL!!! ^.^
